Eros is sometimes flickering/not that responsive

Eros sometimes is not that useable. Sometimes I need to click multiple times on the Server->Connect button, probably because the 2. connect check invalidates the click request?

Also sometimes the cards are flickering. Thats probably because once the list gets updated, all cards get resetted. Then they get rendered resetted, And after that a Platform.runLater kicks in and updates the card, because of the async Event API.
